Multiple transliterations are not pretty.

Anyway, I finally finished Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. 30 hours... not that bad, and not the 'ten hours' I'd heard tossed around. I got a D-Ratio of 1/1024... but I don't really think I want to play through it again. Next up... probably Dark Cloud 2, although I've also got Xenosaga.

The ending was kind of neat... getting to see the cursed D-Meter go up to like 200%. }:) It didn't make a hell of a lot of sense, though. I bet you're supposed to play through it again to have it make sense.

Jello...

...there's a spell in AC2 called 'Espirit', that reduces the vigor costs of everything you do while you're under it. I feel like I'm under the reverse.

Everything just seems to take so much effort... like, I need to go type the two-word command to drop the most recent build in the (futile) effort to fix the last niggling vestige of the (latest) Eternal Bug From the Darkest Depths of Font Hell, but... geez... I don't know if I have the strength.

Just thinking about it makes me extremely weary, like I'm contemplating climbing a hundred flights of stairs instead of just typing two words.

Well, no. More like I'm contemplating climbing the 75th flight of stairs out of a hundred. And have lost count.

I declare this mood 'dispirited'.

Tonight was Lance's high-level D+D game. We finished saving the city, then poked a hornet's nest. Then bug-sprayed the hornets. Then cast a divination, and started the process of going way out of the way on the theory that it was actually true and useful.
