Today at work I had to give a big demo to the product group manager Mrs. B., the... differently motivated woman who's fond of encouraging managers to attain a higher level of turnover and use 'the full range' of review scores, including the ones that mean you're supposed to fire the person unless they shape up.

So of course the feature I've been working on for the last few months managed to spontaneously develop terrible performance issues specific to the demo machine, which was set up with such a horribly low screen resolution that you couldn't really make heads or tails of what I was demoing anyway.

Eh, at least it didn't crash.

In other news, I surrender. Earthlink, you win. You can have my credit card number, since you're apparently too incompetent to actually send me a bill every month. I *do* hate you, though. Just so you know.
