Hunter of Gnolls
Hunter of Gnolls == 'is from Qeynos'.
Currently camped in Nektulos Forest by the entrance to the commonlands, because I grouped with the bossy paladin again. He wasn't as bossy this time.
He didn't make it to the commonlands -- we took a wrong turn (someone said 'take the first right', when it was actually the second right) and got eaten by bear cubs (note to self: increased gamma is not as good as sonicvision), and respawned on the wrong side of a massive closed gate that you can't open unless you've done a bunch of quests for some guy in the steppes. Someone came by in response to his pitiful pleas and let us through, and *I* got through, but he didn't notice and missed the opportunity.
Anyway, for some reason no one in the steppes would give me any quests or talk to me or anything, but everyone and his brother in Nektulos was handing them out, so I might be in Nek for a bit. Plus, the next step of 'History of the Kerra' is in Nek. Somewhere in Nek. Gah.
Or I might head back soon to do the vale of the shattering before I outlevel it, or use the bank or something.
I also fiddled around a bit with an old magic deck I haven't played in a while, before remembering that the reason I hadn't played it in a while is that a lot of the cards in it were banned. Chiefly the artifact lands, but they were sort of important.
Today at work, while I was trying to (find some reason not to) work on my yearly performance review form, three separate parties were announed -- beer, port, cheese, and ice cream. Everyone who came near the cheese remarked on its excessive stinkiness -- it was all fancy artisinal cheese...
I decided to take a taste of each of the fifteen cheeses, and by the end I (a) could no longer tell them apart, and (b) was getting sick to my stomach. Urgh. >.< I think I need to stay away from fancy cheese the same way I stay away from fancy yogurt; give me the pasteurized stuff, it's much easier on the digestive tract.
